15+ Years of Mathematics Teaching Experience

With over 15 years of international and U.S.-based teaching experience, Mr. Sobaci has guided students to success in mathematics from middle school through college-level Calculus, including SAT Math preparation and university-level academic readiness. His academic background includes studies at Rice University and a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Houston.

Over the past several years, he has worked extensively with students across Northern Virginia — supporting learners from 4th through 12th grade at Langley, McLean, Oakton, Chantilly, and Washington-Liberty High Schools, among others in the region.

He has also supported college students at Northern Virginia Community College in Pre-Calculus, Applied Calculus, and Calculus, and previously served as a High School Mathematics Teacher at KAA Academy for three years.

Questions Families Ask Us

Everything parents and students want to know — answered clearly.

What grades does Top Education Solutions serve?
We serve students in Grades K–12 and adults across Northern Virginia. Programs include Elementary Math, Middle School Math, High School Math (through Calculus), SAT Prep, TJ Prep, AMC competition prep, English, and Turkish language.
Do you offer online or in-person tutoring?
Both. We are based at 4401 Fair Lakes Ct, Fairfax, VA 22030 and offer in-person sessions. Online sessions are available for families who prefer remote instruction. All students get the same structured program and access to our student portal.
How is TES different from drop-in tutoring?
TES is a structured program, not a drop-in service. Students follow a personalized academic plan with measurable milestones. Classes are formed by readiness level, not grade level. Progress is tracked and shared with parents. This is curriculum-driven tutoring, not homework help.
How do I enroll my child?
Start by emailing us at [email protected] or clicking Enroll Now. We'll schedule a free 30-minute assessment, evaluate your child's current level, identify gaps, and recommend the right program. Enrollment is straightforward from there.
What is the Digital SAT and how is it different?
The Digital SAT replaced the paper SAT in 2024. It is adaptive, shorter (2 hrs 14 min), uses the Bluebook app, and allows the Desmos graphing calculator on all math questions. Max score is still 1600.
What is AMC and should my child participate?
AMC (American Mathematics Competitions) are prestigious math olympiad competitions. AMC 8 is for middle schoolers, AMC 10 and 12 for high schoolers. High AMC scores strengthen college applications and can qualify students for AIME. We strongly recommend it for mathematically motivated students.
How does TJ admissions work now?
TJHSST no longer uses a standardized test. The process evaluates GPA (minimum 3.5), a Student Portrait Sheet, a STEM Problem-Solving Essay administered in January, and experience factors. Our TJ prep focuses on the STEM essay — the most important component.
When is the next SAT test date?
SAT 2026 weekend test dates include August, October, November, and December. A waitlist feature lets students automatically get placed when a seat opens at a preferred center. Check sat.org for exact dates and registration deadlines.
